Earlier this year (during the super gimpy period) we went into Oakland and visited the Cathedral of Learning -- a cathedral-like tower on Pitt's campus. The Nationality Rooms are located int he Cathedral - rooms decorated up like in historical fashions from variuos countries around the world. At Christmas they decorate the rooms in Christmas fashions of the various countries and have a free day and a market.
Christmas Morning -- David enjoying some of his best gifts -- the Illinois Sweatshirt he wanted, the Frangos Kate sent him to give him a piece of Chicago Christmas, and the snuggie he denies wanting but sure seems to enjoy :)
David's *other* girlfriend -- and an awesome look for him.
I got a new camera for Christmas from David -- so expect lots more pictures of the dogs!
This is what happens to dogs after an afternoon in the snow.
The roadtrip to see Pitt-UConn football was a fail in the winning department. Staying in PGH to watch the Panthers take down Kimba Walker and UCan't in basketball was awesome. It was the best game I've been to here -- The energy was great now that they are in conference play. Made me think of the good old days at the Assembly Hall. I'm so glad that David loves college basketball more than me!!!
When i think of my first December in PGH it will be characterized by snow. lots of it. There wasn't lots of accumulation, but there was lake effect snow for days on end, followed by weeks on end. The day after Christmas we took the JG's to the park so they could enjoy some play time in the snow.
