DC Peeps!

 A quick stop while in DC for work this week.  I actually find peeps gross, but was amazed that this actually exists!

I'm back

You may have noticed, I have been MIA lately.  Life has been crazy, between work and personal life I've not been around very much the last two months- yet I didn't have much to report on. 

While the men had man time and beat on their chests to prove their manliness I stayed home to try to turn the explosion that was my house into something livable.  I've made a bit of progress, which is probably only noticeable to me!  The dogs watched me do it -- apparently it was pretty tiring stuff.  I came upstairs from switching laundry and this is what I found! 

I'll call the night a success -- My bedroom is cleaned up, I have two bags of clothes to inventory before donating to goodwill, the spare room is mostly tidied for my upcoming visitor, the laundry is close to done, and the downstairs is getting closer.

Jack Stack Barbeque

When in Kansas City there are a few things one must do.  Pretty much all I can come up with is eat barbeque and drink Boulevard.  I checked both off the list tonight.

U2 360 Concert

Last week we went to the U2 concert with our friends Beth and G - it was AWESOME.  We all had a great time, some more than others.  It was a particularly fitting concert for us since the first conversation David and I had involved us discussing U2 and which albums/songs we liked best. 

The Countdown is ON!

On Friday July 22 David proposed!  We've set the date for April 21, 2012 in Pittsburgh and the countdown is on!We're pretty psyched and I think our families seem pretty happy with the choice too.  Can't wait to celebrate the big day -- I have a feeling the next few months will fly.
